Thursday we had a day "fruitful" day! The children learned all about different types of fruit. We looked at their sizes, colors, what animals eat them, where they grow, and how heavy they weigh. After passing them around we decided to juice the apples and oranges! Children came up and helped push the fruit through the juicer as we watched the juice come pouring into the pitcher. What a special treat it was to have freshly squeezed juice. Everyone enjoyed the apple juice, and those who enjoyed a bit of a bitter taste enjoyed the orange juice as well. Next time we will get bigger and sweeter oranges!
The children got to play with the special wooden train tracks! That was so fun to build.
